Norton Clipper has expanded its offering of flooring solutions by adding units to its surface preparation and grinding range.

The company has launched the CG 280, a 280mm single-disc grinder designed for edge-grinding functionality and ease of use in tight spaces.

A pivotable head means the unit can also be converted into an edge grinder.

Another new launch is the CG 450, a 450mm three-headed grinder that is capable of tackling tougher floor preparation and polishing jobs despite its compact size of 1,180mm in height and 450mm in width.

Both the CG 280 and CG 450 are powered by a 230V electric single-phase connection and are equipped with a dead man’s handle for improved comfort and safety. A variety of tools are also available for the new range.

Designed for polishing, Norton Clipper has also added the compact CG 450 UNO alongside the larger CG 550, which the company said is designed for more demanding projects.

Both machines come with a Dual Cut Technology (DCT) system, while the CG 550 comes with an ergonomic handle, adjustable speed, and a 46L water tank.

For dewaxing, shining, and micro-sanding, the single-brush unit CG Clean 430 is also a new addition.

The unit comes with a 20L water tank with manual water release, an orbital system for stability, and a detachable head from the frame for flexible working modes and easy transportation.

Elsewhere, the CG Wood 430 with a counter-rotating planetary sander is equipped with four heads and is designed for pre-grinding, sanding, oiling, brushing, and finishing hardwood and parquet flooring.

The unit is powered by a 4HP (2.9kW) engine.

Jonathan Ziebel, product manager, Norton Clipper, said, “This new range is a ground-breaking venture into the floor solutions market for Norton Clipper, offering solutions for every application, from preparation and grinding, right through to polishing, cleaning, and sanding.

“Confidence, trust and quality are in our DNA as a brand, and this innovative range isn’t just about individual tools or machines; it’s a comprehensive solution that encompasses an entire floor treatment ecosystem. This new expansion underscores our continued commitment to offering unparalleled precision and performance, delivering results you can be confident in from day one.”
