Fall protection webinar series starts Oct. 30

First of four-part series to cover inspection, proper fit of fall protection

The SAIA’s Fall Protection Council is kicking off its four-part webinar series with its first virtual event next week.

The initial webinar, “Harness Inspection,” is on Monday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. Central and will cover inspection and proper fit of a harness.

The event is free for SAIA members and $50 for non-members.

The series is presented by SAIA Fall Protection Council Chair Becky Danielson, who is also Tractel North America’s height safety specialist and product manager, and she will have a special focus on the latest proposal from OSHA about proper-fitting fall protection to ensure that attendees are up to date on the latest safety trends.

The webinars will continue in January 2024 and finish next May. Here’s the upcoming schedule for this series:

  • Lanyards & Connectors: Jan. 19, 2024
  • Self-Retracting Lanyard: March 13, 2024
  • Vertical Lifelines and Anchorage Connectors: May 15, 2024
