US-based rental company Skyway Lift Rentals has expanded its access equipment fleet with the addition of new 55.7m (183 ft) Bronto Skylift.

The company, which specialises in truck mounted aerial platform rental and operates across New York City, recently ordered the S183XI truck mount to keep up with growing customer demand.

The S183XR aerial platform, which will be delivered towards the end of this year, will be mounted on a Mack 6×4 chassis and equipped with an extendable working cage with 1300 lb safe working load and ±220° cage slewing.

Skyway’s new Bronto Skylift truck mount - the third to join its rental equipment fleet - will also feature a water hose between the turntable and the cage, a complete turntable control station and 360° continuous rotation of the turntable.

Andrew Yaremiy, CEO, Skyway Lift Rentals, said, “We’ve been really pleased with the stability and reliability of our Bronto units.

“The Bronto 5+ control system has impressed us with its advanced technological features and ease of use, and we look forward to adding more Brontos to our fleet in the future as business expands.”
