Free shoring resources available from SAIA

The Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) has announced the completion and availability of new shoring resources available to download from its website for free.
The new documents include codes of safe practices and safety rules, inspection guidelines and forms, and safe practices and safety rules. All materials were developed by the SAIA’s Shoring Council, which has been working on the resources for more than a year now.
The newly developed, free resources include:
- Code of Safe Practices for Adjustable Horizontal Shoring Beams
- Code of Safe Practices for Independent Post Shore Systems
- Code of Safe Practices for Rolling Shore Brackets
- Code of Safe Practices for Flying Deck Forms
- Shoring Field Survey: Project Information
“We express our heartfelt appreciation to the Shoring Council and all the dedicated volunteers whose efforts have resulted in these vital resources for the industry,” the SAIA said.
