Vik holds an Operations and Supply Chain Management degree from the University of St. Thomas, and during his tenure with APi has demonstrated a remarkable ability to establish and enhance processes for estimating, project management and job status. He has also shown a great desire to learn and grow his leadership skill set, according to the company.

“I am delighted to announce Tanner’s promotion to Business Manager,” said Russ Byers, APi Scaffold division manager. “This move is well deserved, and I have no doubt Tanner will excel in his new role. As Business Manager, he will take the next step in his professional career by owning the growth opportunity of the National Scaffold effort. This move will help unlock the next round of our expansion efforts within the Regional Services side of the business.”

Vik’s new role will include managing day-to-day operations of National Scaffold, providing estimates, building and tracking budgets and managing projects. In addition, he will be responsible for company financials, income statements and other management duties.

Vik previously served as the company’s senior project manager, taking care of clients with large industrial projects and smaller commercial work, as well. A “numbers guy’ with a bachelor’s degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of St. Thomas, Vik splits his time between Minneapolis and Portland, where he oversees ongoing construction projects for a major technology company.
