The rental company’s ninth location in the state, H&E Lakeland specialises in both construction and general industrial equipment, and also carries a specialist stock of aerial platforms and telehandlers from manufacturers such as Genie, JLG and Skyjack.

Construction equipment available from the branch, which incorporates a separate equipment repair and servicing facility, includes earthmoving machinery, compaction equipment and generators - from brands including Allmand, Atlas Copco, Bomag, Case, Doosan, Gehl, Generac Mobile, Hilti, JCB, Kubota, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar, and others.

The facility aims to take advantage of the growing demand for rental equipment, which is primarily being driven by a rise in housebuilding and warehouse construction in the surrounding areas.

Timothy Longstreet, H&E’s Tampa Branch Manager, said, “With the expanding opportunities in the region that stem from the surrounding metropolitan markets of Tampa and Orlando, where we have existing branches, Lakeland is the perfect location for our new rental branch.

“This strategic placement of facilities gives us greater coverage to reach customers throughout the entire area. With growing multifamily housing and warehousing projects in the region, we will have the units available to meet the demand for quality equipment for these and many other construction projects.”
